Austro is a local bakery with big ideas about producing small batch, artisan products.

We have now closed our South Melbourne store, and have relocated to a factoryette in North Melbourne.

We will open a small retail space in the next few weeks.

We bake pastries, focaccia and cakes, by hand, each day. We strive to deliver unique baked goods with Central European flavours and techniques, but with modern accents to suit a Melbourne palate. 

We supply a select group of cafes and restauarants, where you can try our wares. These include:
